For 2024, one of our Parish Priests will confirm our young members from our four Churches.

A copy of your child's Baptism Certificate is required if they were not baptised at Formosa, Teeswater, Riversdale, Chepstow or Cargill.
How to Choose a Sponsor

A Confirmation Sponsor can be a baptized and confirmed Catholic 16 years or older. Parents of the candidate are discouraged from acting as a sponsor. It could be a grandparent, godparent, aunt or uncle, cousin, older sibling, friend, or neighbour. Candidates are invited to choose someone that will help and support them in living out their faith and using the gifts of the Holy Spirit that will be bestowed upon them in Confirmation.
