This direct-debit program allows parishioners to support our Churches through automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account. Once a month, funds are debited from parishioners' accounts and the grand total, less a small service fee* is electronically transferred to the specific Church Operating Account. There is no minimum amount. You do not need a Church envelope to participate. *Currently the service charge is 50 cents per parishioner. This fee is charged to the Church. Parishioners receive credit for their full donated amount at the Church's year end.
PAR is administered by the United Church of Canada on behalf of churches of all denominations who wish to participate. This allows the administration expenses to be kept to a minimum. We are not the only Catholic Church to utilize this service. Their name, United Church of Canada, will appear on your bank statement
